hey i think i know what i have to do i just wanna make sure so i dont mess up my xbox...i found my bios in E/Back Up where my MS Dashboard is and well i was wondering if i was supposed to replace bios.bin with x2.4981.06.bin?

bios.bin
disk.bin
eeprom.bin
hddinfo.txt
hddkey.bin

just download and burn it to CD/DVD your choice and install the ms dash......

i have Nero but what type of disc should it be? DVD or CD right?
but the file that i downloaded doesnt fit in dvds or cds which type do i need to put it in? or a bootable disc? also is there anything else i need to put in the disc along with xecuter and SID? well ill c what happens when i know which type of discs to use and when i load it ill tell u how it goes.

okay and then i just put it in the xbox and boot it up right?with sid and xecuter in it? but whenever i try to put in SID opr xecuter v4981 it says not a valid image file? and well i dont think xecuter goes by itself just like that man just explain ALL i need to know to put xecuter in and reinstall evox so i dont bother u any more ok? sorry bout all questions.

look you need to FTP your eeprom.bin create a boot disc using XboxHDM and lock your HD back that should fix the problem....the bios has nothing to do with it....

wow i got so confused reading the HOWTO on the XboxHDM... man i just want my discs to work again lol and now i sit here thinking what in the hell was i thinking unlocking my xbox hardrive!!!

does your xbox still boot to the modded dash?and can you FTP?because you could FTP a program to your xbox called Config magic to lock your HD Back...

once you get it and open the application on the xbox it is self explanatory really it will have the option to lock/unlock the HD..PM me if you need config magic i have it....
