I have been using slide keys that I have made for a while, but one when one broke inside the ps2, they all started to, so I tried using a plastic smart card and a paperclip(to close) instead.
I have managed to jam it shut so the ps2 thinks the drive is open and tries to shut it, but it can't and it won't open either, there is a disc inside

ah well problem solved thanks anyway - just played with the eject button and the smart card and paper clip

btw have any of you used a plastic card and a paper clip instead of a slide card
