I have an old 20gig hitatchi 2.5" laptop hd inside a usb1.1/2 hdd box, it works fine on the pc and when airmax is reading it, the read light flashes but airmax always says it is empty. Any ideas why?

I aleady have formatted it to fat32, how would I be able to run games of the hdd then using airmax, I haven't found any guides

I have found a solution and that was to use the mc exploit to install launchelf through the airmax media player, then I copied a bunch of elfs including hd loader usbadvance cdloader cogswap etc. straight to the hd and then booted them using launchelf usbadvance worked with my hd but hdloader did not, cogswap was also very helpful for the incompatible games which i burnt to dvd/cd
