Problem using swap magic 3.6 with component cables. After the playstation2 appears on screen, the tv goes blank and says unsupported. If i connect the ps2 to the tv using the standard scart lead swap magic works fine also i can play original ps2 games using the component leads. Any help is greatly appriciated.
Thanks

And by the way i am using a v10 (i think) ps2 and a Hyundai LCD TV

It has nothing to do with Swapmagic. But make sure when you use it dont have a usb pendrive plugd in cause ive had swapmagic do that and all it kept doing was rebooting due to havin it in. I think it couldbe your LCD, maybe some settings? or sometin, just outa interest how much did u pay4it plasmas r so effin expensive and they dont last that long eithr. If you say the SCART works ok, then u should stick with it, cause i've read on all the different video connections and scart is said to give da best quality pic over component.

Sorry to say its NOT SUPPORTED :-(
I had the same problem with my old messiah chip [long may it 0wn] seemed in order to get around the 'green screen' scandal of yesteryear component got its ass kicked.
I had to upgrade to a newer chip [green spot Infinity max] to get component going on my shiny new HDTV.
And to be honest component isn't all that, washes out your colour a bit, RGB scart is more than acceptable [make sure its rgb by checking all pins are connected, if its just 12 u have been snookered]

This is all relevant if your ps2 is PAL, if its NTSC then i dunno.

end transmission
