Ok, I have been burning Dvds for a while. I use DVD Decrypter but also have Nero. The thing is I only am experienced in burning ps2 games...

So I have been trying to copy some movies lately using DVD Decrypter since Nero says there copy protected...(tell me if this is against the ToS) Thing is I do a ISO read and extract an ISO but it is always to large to write on a normal sized Dvd... And I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to use DVD-DL... right?

I also just tried a file extract with DVD Decrypter and the oversall size of all the .vob files and ect is over 6 gigs... uh?

Can anyone help me out please? Or gide mt to a tutorial or something?

Thanks, Highly Appreciated.

try using DVD Shrink to compress the decrypted video.
DVD-rb (DVD rebuilder)does a better job at higher compression rates,
But DVD Shrink can do the job just as well.
And DVD Shrink is free while DVD_RB is not.

The videos will have to be decrypted before hand.
DVD Decrypter wont be able to decrypt newer movies.
I would try using AnyDVD.
It what i use and has a 30 day free trial,
And free lifetime updates with purchase.

http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html?aid=50022

AnyDVD decrypts the disc 'on the fly' in real time.
No need to copy the files to your HDD,
DVD Shrink will read and compress directly from the disc.
(with AnyDVD running in the backgound of couse).

Good luck and welcome to the forums

Hi Ant1532! I use DVDFABDecrypter to decrypt and burn to hard drive, DVDShrink to shrink it down and Nero to write to my DVD, all but Nero is freeware and DVDFABDecrypter is still being updated so it decrypts even the newest movies. You can find DVDFAV and DVDShrink in my signature.

I use the exact same set up as theboltz. Sometimes I run my file through Vobblanker just to ensure shrink runs smoothly. I've seen some posts where people are having difficulty backing up Basic Instinct 2. I used DVD FAb to rip VoBBlanker to clean the file up DVD Shrink to compress and Nero to burn. Seamless process with excellent results.
