Please help me if you can! We just bought a new Sony Handycam. I transferred the videos we took to my computer and then burned the files to a DVD+R. They play great on the PC, but when I put them in my Toshiba DVD player that is connected to our TV, I can "see" the videos fine, but I can't hear the audio. Any suggestions on how I can correct this problem? Thanks for any help!

If video plays fine while audio is the only problem, it's not a burner problem. That leave us with Player problem or authoring problem. I'm leaning towards the latter. What program did you use to convert the imported video to DVD?

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean Im crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?

and I hope you tried to switch the audio channel on the DVD player by the remote button> just in case.

or when recording, the audio channel was not checked off, like in CloneDVD2, or Shrink.

Thanks so much! Actually, after I posted my question, I decided to it one last try; I went to the "audio" set up on my DVD player's remote control and voila! There was my answer! So, yes, it was the player's audio setup. Thanks for responding so quickly! Appreciate your assistance! Bev
