Hi, I've been looking for a good *FREE* DVD to Mpeg converter. Anyone have any good ideas on what I should use?

I'm not even sure if this is in the right section on the forums =(

The conversion was fine, it says its Mpeg but when i try to play it with media player or try to use it with a program im using ... it rejects it. Media player says it needs a new codec. =(

One problem after another, but thanks a million for the help.

Anyone know whats wrong?
