I get this often and I can't backup my discs...any advice. I only use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. thanks

hey this could be because of a scracth, or dity disk, or it could also be a protection problem.

If u are using DVD Decrypter than you cant decrypt any of the newer movies because they have new protection on them that DVD Decrypter cant handle.

so what movie R u trying to rip?

also there are numerous ways for you to copy dvds.

1.U can download DVDFab Decrypter(Free) here is link
http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm

2. U can try a trial version of AnyDVD(Pay For)

3. after u rip using DVDFab then u would do the normal process thru shrink and then burn

Tell us what you're trying to burn. If it's a new(er) title, it's probably a protection error.

If not, look at the disc, is it everything 300bowler said? If so, you need a new disc.

Your advice worked! Thanks!! I used DVDFAB...then Shrink and Decrypter. it's great...a little longer, but does the trick!
