The easiest program that I have found and used is DVD X Copy. I have not had any problems with it if you want to record more then a 2 hour movie onto 1 disc then you have to use DVD xpress which that on the other hand I have not had much luck with.

I have pm'd you with a small nero guide, you may find useful.
It is by no means flawless as you may encounter incompatibility issues with some media used....

Yes, probably,loaded
May aswell give him a guide - probably view afterdawn in a different light now from the past thread.
Some people just bite the hands that feed them sometimes - but eventually the hand does fall off.....
Hope the guide was useful for you jiggaman..

Loaded, I compiled a small Nero guide which I used to use - it was the guide I sent him only.
It's by no means foolproof (universal)
Do you want to have a look over it?

Please PM me any guides you want and their inclusion can be discussed, unless you are already dealing with 'Da Boss!'

It's just basic - written on word.
Shall pm you with it - and yes if it looks ok maybe you would fancy jazzing/modifying it up a bit and post it - see what da boss thinks..

While we're on this subject, on thing that might be nice is if we could have some sort of link beside our username that includes our favorite guides. I don't know how many of you guys use ebay, but beside your username you have an option of posting an "about me" page. I use mine for when I post on the help boards for some of the most common things people need help with.
I don't know if that would be cost prohibitive or not. I imagine ebay makes a little more money from their site than afterdawn. ;)

Hey as members we have to start enforcing certain policies around here.
Quote: need exact details on burning dvd's from start to finish and not computer mumbo jumbo just a detailed instruction guide, including programs, codecs etc. etc.
From now on the immediate answer to questions like this should be "Do a search goddamit!" I mean on www.afterdawn.com on the left hand side there is a link that says GUIDES, for god's sake just click it.
Now don't get me wrong, I am not against helping people, I enjoy helping those who try to help themselves. Like "I have looked everywhere and I can't find whatever prog or how to use it. can someone help me.". That is a person I would enjoy helping to the best of my abilities.
Those are my .02 cents, just had to put it out there

I've taken Herb's advise and added the info to my sig. From now on all I need to say is "Talk to the hyperlink."
(Not quite as hip as "talk to the hand" unfortunately.)
