My original Men in Black will play in my DVD player for the TV but will not autostart in my computer. If I click on the VIDEO_TS.IFO file it plays fine. Here is my problem. I decrypted it with DVDFab decrypter. After I decrypted it I clicked on the VIDEO_TS.IFO file to see if it would play and it did. Now I used shrink to shrink it and and then burnt it to disk. Now the copy will not play in my regular DVD player and it will not play on my computer either. I tried to run it though vobblanker and that did not help. I tried to shrink by reauthoring and I also tried to do the whole disk, still won't work. Anyone have any ideas before I buy another copy just as a backup. It will soon be cheaper. Thanks

try ripping with good ol DVD Decrypter then run it thru shrink?

but it sounds like there is something wrong with how u burned the movie because if it doesn't play in your PC then something has to be wrong. PC's for the most part will play anything even if the standalone player doesnt.

What prog. R u using to burn the disk?
and what type of media r u using?

I am using Verbatim -R disks and CopyToDVD to burn. I know this is not the problem cause I've bunt hundreds of them with out a problem. Something on the original disk will not allow me to run the disk on a computer. I've tried two different computers with no luck. I also tried it on two different DVD player hooked to my TV and it worked on both.

maybe u can try a different ripping program?
maybe dvdFab didn'y rip it right?
Maybe try a different burning program?
like DVD Decrypter or imgburn

maybe try having shrink make an ISO file and then burn

im just saying that there a tons of different ways on how to copy that movie, so before u go buy another one how about trying different programs, if the ones u or using now for this movie are not working
just a thought
