Renting Games - opinions/advice

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all

I like games but I am rubbish at them so object to paying £40 for something I will quickly get frustrated with.

I have tried renting games from Blockbuster but they are so expensive and I can never get any I want.

I have looked at a new source, online renting and I think I have finally found a decent solution but would like some advice.

I have found the following site

http://www.nimblethumbs.com

and it seems to be everything I want.

Could you guys have a look and let me know if it is a good idea and reasonable costs etc.

Cheers

Seems kind of expensive compared to here in NZ, But anyway it's got to be better than buying them. I hope you own an original copy for every game you intend to rent and copy LMAO, or you could end up the new mascot for the prison basketball team lol.

Well, it really depends on where they are located as compared to you as to if it is a good deal or not. That and how fast they process requests.

Like if they are far away and it take 3-5 days to get a game, then figure it takes the same time for you to send them back, you will only get about 3-4 games a month in for that price, if your lucky. Still cheaper then renting but not real fast.

Like my online Blockbuster membership here in the US. They have a distribution center right here in my state. So i get 3 movies at a time i can have, and i get them every 2 days. So i really get my moneys worth because of the very short turn around time.

It's about 15 miles away so time is not an issue

You should be fine then as long as it is a reputable company
I know here in the US it is $14.95 for 2 games at a time per month
(11.86 Euro)
