I am sorry if I posted incorrectly. I would still be very grateful if someone knows what kind works.

I must be reading your question wrong. You say you have a stand alone DVD player, and it says it plays DVD-R's, and you want to know if it will play DVD-R's?

I want to know if anyone has a burner and sucessfully played in a Panasonic player. The reason is, from what I have read here and other places that some DVD standalone players won't play discs from a DVD-R burner and I want some idea which one will do this.

Most of the problems people experience have been either somebody doing something wrong in the burning process, or having a DVD player that doesn't support DVD-R's. Your player lists DVD-R's as supported, so I wouldn't worry about it.
