I successfully ripped a dvd to my pc in ISO Mode so now i have a .iso file which is 7gigs. But my blank dvd are the regular 4.7gig. Is there a way i can use DVD Decrypter and make it so that it will fit on a dvd. Because now i have a useless iso file that i cant burn to dvd. Is there a program where i can make this iso smaller to fit on dvd.

I also tried DVD Shrink with the dvd and it gave me same ol errors.

I just thought of something can i use DVD Shrink with my iso file??

You can use DVDShrink to shrink the iso down to fit to your blank media, as long as you have broken the movies encryption properly.

Here is the FREE way of making perfect backups.

1) run your movie through DVDFab Decrypter, this will rip the movie to your HDD while removing all the latest encryptions.

2) Not always necessary, run it through VobBlanker, this will remove any left over encryptions that DVDFab Decrypter left behind. You can also cut out the FBI warnings and trailers.

3)Open the movie with DVDShrink to compress, while selecting ISO as your output

4) Burn with a great burning program called Imgburn, made by the same guy as DVDD LIGHTNING UK.

And here are some guides:

EDIT: Welcome to AD :)

EDIT2: Forgot to mention RipIt4Me, I have not used it but have heard nothing but good things about it.

You can download it from here while rading the excellent guide by my mate arniebear.
