My stock dvd burner stopped working , so I put in a new one . nec 3500.
I backed up some movies but I keep getting this error .

Could be because the firmware on that burner is way, way out of date. Go here and download the current version 2.1B. The fw on your drive is orignial, maybe after the flash it will recognize the new media.
