Well I've recently softmodded my xbox and I'm using UnleashX & its awesome. I figured out how to FTP to the xbox and I installed some emulators that work great. I love being able to play old school games like contra. I can't figure out how to get the emulators into the apps or emulators menu though. I have to go to file explorer and then E drive, apps, emulators,(wichever folder the emulator i want to use is in). So how do I get them to show up in the apps or emulator menu? Actually one of them shows up in the apps menu but not the others, that emulators default.xbe is in the emulators folder and all the others are the folder I created for each emulator.

Also I can't figure out how to save a skin. I go to skins and select the one I want and at the bottom it says to press start/A(2x) to save and I do that and then when I reboot it goes back to the default can someone help figure out how to keep that skin so it loads that one when I turn on the xbox? I really need some help here. (I can't believe I figured how to do the soft-mod and FTP but I cant save a skin). I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions.

when you have a softmod some changes are not written to the eeprom because the HDD remains lock you can make the change use config magic to unlock your Xbox then lock it back, however whatever you do be sure never to turn a softmodded Xbox off w/ the HDD unlocked.

Thanks! I'll prolly try that tomorrow. Also I heard that some of the new games will update your dash if you get on line and they'll fry your xbox or something I was wondering if NFS Most Wanted was one of those games? b/c I noticed in my games saves something called online updater application and I'm not sure if that was there before I copied NFS to my HDD. I also noticed in file explorer when i looked at the NFS folder something called dashupdate.xbe and update.xbe. Should I delete all of these things? I'm kind of scared to connect my xbox to my router now

You can delete those two files from every backup because you can't play online with a backup anyhow.
