NOW THAT DVD Shrink CAN'T BACKUP THE NEWER MOVIES WHAT IS EVERYONE USING AND WHERE DO I GET IT?

Firstly, please, don't use all caps. It is extremely annoying (never mind that it's against the rules here).

Secondly, if you peruse the forum, even in the slightest way, you'll see the numerous alternatives to Shrink, such as DVDFab, VOBB, CloneDVD, etc., etc.

ok this is the combo if u dont want to pay for it

DVDFab Decrypter2980(Free) to rip to HDD

Then in some cases like the Sony or Disney Movies u use VOBblanker
get it here http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm

Then u use Shrink as usual, then burn with the program u want like ImgBurn, DVD Decrypter, or nero(Pay for)

or u can buy AnyDVD and use that with shrink

To back up my movies I do this:

I have AnyDVD running in the background and use DVDDecrypter to rip the movies onto my HDD

I then use DVDRebuilder Pro with Procoder2 to compress, then Imgburn to burn.

I have never encountered any errors and always have a perfect backup, I watch my movies on my 52" HDTV

For movies that need no compression (i do movie only) I use CloneDVD.

Mate what are you talking bout all the new movies do still work with DVD Shrink all u have to do is keep AnyDVD up to date and the only thing i chane is using DVD Fab Decrypter and for the final step i use CloneDVD 2.

shrink might need a little help from AnyDVD, Ripit4me or fabdecrypter but, it is still one of the two best transcoders outthere.

what i do. decrypter with AnyDVD in the background/shrink main movie only for most of my backups/IMGBurn to burn.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

I'm too cheap to buy AnyDVD and my trial period has expired, so I usually just rip with DVDFab, then use DVD Shrink and burn with Imgburn. Sure was nice when I had AnyDVD though....

Well....I use Shrink to open the dvd from the drive...Then I use FreeDVD which is a free download to take any protection out of the video folder...Then I burn with Nero 6 ultra. Haven't found any new movies I couldn't backup with this method.
