Is there really a japanese laser eye fix cd?

About a week and a half ago I came to the forums and read about a cd that came with the original ps2 in Japan that would format the hard drive on a ps2 and apparently helped with the alignment of the laser eye. Does such a thing really exist and where can I get one. I ordered "Playstation 2 repair cd" off of ebay and it just turned out to be a disk with information that the seller probably got from this forum. Thanks in advance.
