What USB flash drives are compatible with a PS2?

Earlier today, in an effort to transfer a game save via uLaunchELF and a USB flash drive, I purchased a PNY 256 MB USB flash drive, but the PS2 didn't recognize it and Swap Magic would not fully boot up when the USB drive was inserted into the PS2's USB port. My question is what brand of USB flash drives are compatible with the PS2, so I know what kind to exchange my PNY flash drive for?

I've used a Lexar before, Not sure if the new Lexar models will work

ipods work for it... but boot up swap magic first.. and then insert the usb device... it has auto detect so you can plug it in at the last minute and it will still work...

Yes you can because an mp3 player is just a usb flash drive that can play music files from itself. really you can put anything on it and use it to store stuff like example: your game saves, pictures, works files. Anything can be put on!!!!!
