i went to walmart
they didnt check that (if you dont screw up the lable and make it look like it was fu***d with then i dont think the will check the one under the batery)
as long as the box and the one on the botom of the unit match it sould be fine!

well i might to walmart but i think zellers is alot easier because one time my friend went to return his psp 2.71 and get his money bak and the lady just scanned the box plus he kept most of the accesories n a game lol usually old ladies work at zellers n they probably dont even no wat a psp is

i was in the subway with a old man and he had a psp "sigh"
-he kept cursing cuz he had no idea how to turn it on
-i showd him how and he told me to f**k off cuz hed figure it out himself :P
-then the batery died and then he wanted my help!

no ofence but thchnology doesnt belong to the elderly crowd (they just cant adapt fast enough)

PS: good luck getting a new psp or your money back!

i only changed the sticked @ the bottom of the psp unit. the one sticker that says
"psp 1001 ??????????" (and barcode)
i didnt bother with the batery. i also kept the game and some other bonuses!

i got a psp for christmas from my mom and i tried to do a whole bunch of homebrew on it right away. im not sure what happened. i think wen i made a usb charger i reversed the polarity and it fried my fuse/regulator chip on the mobo. so i wanted to exchange it but i didnt have a recipt cuz it got it for christmas. (i lost it). so i went back and bought a new psp. switched the barcodes (carefuly) and returned the broken one (with the new barcode) and i was able to get my money back. (i also kept the extras that came with it :P)

Get it now?

if there is nothin rong with it they wont take it back (i think)
ps: stomping on the screen is physical damage and they wont echange it. if your still under warenty make sure u can exchange it! then wire up a charger, reverse the polarity(on the dc side) and plug it in!(your psp wont charge and there is no evidence of physical damage)

If you have the extended warranty they will swap it. I have stomped on the screen, bricked them, just abused them and they always exchange it. But I had the extended warranty at best buy.

as i said if your psp is broken and you get a new one that works you take the new psp's serial # and put it on the proken psp and the store should exchange it! (for all the details read my earlier post)
