DVD Stopped burning after DVD Fab Decrypter "turned on" DMA

I opened DVD Fab Decrypter a few days ago to rip a DVD to my HD, and it asked me if it could/should enable DMA on my DVD drive. I'm pretty sure it was enabled previously, so I think that my controller was fibbing to DVD Decrypter, but anyway... I said yes, and now I can't burn DVD's nor CD's. Either will get to 3% completed and then hangs forever using Easy CD Creator v6.0. I've found my DMA settings and my options for the drive are :
1.Ultra DMA 2 - Ultra 33
2. Ultra DMA 1
3. Ultra DMA 0
4. Multi-word DMA 2
5. Multi-word DMA 1
6. Multi-word DMA 0
7. PIO

I've tried to move the drive to each of the above with no improvement in the results. Finally, my ATA controller is a NVIDIA nForce4 Parallel ATA Controller, DVD Drive = Memorex DVD+/-RW Dual-X1.

Any help you may offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks beforehand.
