Hi :)
So when you have selected DVDD to read (iso/f) you select a destination folder and nothing comes up right?
You have to put the disc in next then it will highlight.
If you have put the disc in and still does not work, does your dvdwriter play the disc without DVDD on?
Sorry if this makes no sense I've just woke up up so bear with me ;)

The best one I can recomend to you is AnyDVD (ripper) combined with CloneDVD (the best purchase you'll ever make), and you can download it from here: http://www.slysoft.com/en/
Or you can use AnyDVD with shrink or decrypter... Give it a try, I think the trial period is about 3 weeks.

abort, retry or ignore??
This is at 49% of the download the other message appeared before it started ripping and I pressed cancel. What should I do for this one? (It already retried about 70 times)

Did you try DVDFab Decrypter and see if this will rip the disk, it looks like protection. If you are trying Hitch again, DVDD will not do it. Try DVDFab it is free

If I eject the disc will it stop the ripping? If it needs to be cleaned should I use windex or something? I heard toothpaste works well too.
The movie is Roll Bounce. Not a Sony movie so DVDFab is not needed.

If it's dirty just use a little water and a soft cloth to remove smudges. If it's scratched badly, it may not be ripable. Just because it's not a Sony movie doesn't mean is doesn't have DRMs.

try cleaning it with a soft cloth from the center in straight lines. Try ripping it with DVDFab decrypter
