I'm trying to teach my friend how to back up her DVD's and I had her download the latest versions of DVD Shrink and Decrypter, She also bought AnyDVD. all three of her programs are the same version as mine ( the latest versions ) the only difference is I have 2 burners and she only has one. My plan was to have her save the iso file to her hard drive and then burn it to DVD disc. when I encode a disc I have the options to save the iso to hard drive, burn with Decrypter save to folder and one other iso option but she only has the option to save file to folder, when she clicks on the dropdown she doesn't have any options to save the iso, only save files to folder,
QUESTION:
if we both have the same software and same versions why doesn't she have the same options for saving the iso file????
I will appreciate any and all help.
When you put in a disc you want to copy and re-authored it to how you want it, press the backup button, then Target Device, Under select backup target create iso image file options will appear.

She has 50-60 gigs of free space, we uninstalled both programs and installed them after a reboot and when she puts a DVD in her DVD drive to back up DVD Shrink works as it is suppose to up to the point where you chose to burn it or save as iso file. In the dropdown all she had is "hard drive folder and nothing about iso files whatsoever???????????????????????????????????????
Is she running "Windows Blinds" on her PC?
Might sound like a wierd question to ask but for some reason windows blinds will only allow you to see the last selection you picked in the dropdown. Check this thread for details:
