You might wanna edit the title too. You have motherboard spelled motherboarb. Just a friendly suggestion, not trying to offend you :)

Yeah,
it "shouldn't" be.
But make sure you follow carefully the downgrade steps,or else you will get a bricked psp.

sorry josh, but like legend said, it's only a work in progress, he says that it will be supported on the next version, there is no confirmation yet, and since it's a possibility not a confirmation, don't upgrade your 2.6 psp's if u have the TA-082, just sit and wait for something to come around. so the TA-082 is still an issue at this point.

Hi,
So is there a cut off, of FW versions that will defiantly have the TA-082 mobo? So one can just use teh lettering to aviod the FW that has teh new mobo
thanks

That could happen, but, unfortunely ,the recent psp's at the stores have that mobo.if you found one without it recently, you're lucky.

so, since the latest psp fw is 2.6(I), and you can tell from the lettering on box. I look for a psp 1 version back, like 2.5(H). Will this ensure that i WILL NOT GET A TA-082 mobo?
thanks

Ok, so here's my dilemma.
I have both a 1C1003 AND a 1C6001 on the same PSP.
Can I downgrade or use the mod chip ?
