whys it my call? lol,
well devhook is a new iso/umd loader that boots/emulates the 2.71 firmware (doesnt update) so you can run almost any iso/umd

Not being funny boys but im a total newb on this subject . Now i tried to look at ways to back up my psp games and came across a couple of guides. I tried to read through them but they talk as if you already know how to do it.
For example there is a lot of talk about downgrading and such what is all that about?
There is a guide called Super NOOB Guide - Downgrading and Devhook is this for backing up PSP games?

*it is possible to run iso's off your pc
*some people downgrade because yoyur only able to run iso's on firmware 1.5
*you can back up your umd's by using fastloader

iso doesnt only mean it can run on cpu,iso is a compressed image, you need to downgrade ur psp sou canrun homebrew like devhook,go to http://www.psp-hacks.com/ and read .... lol i was to late,or are u too fast lol

Well I'm going to poke the hornets nest too. I wholly agree with sanecrazy .Some of the replies were not even worth reading (except in a teen masturbatory fashion).
