hi guys...to tell the truth, im so frustrated with this movie...i used
any dvd in the background (the newest version) DVD Shrink, and everything works out fine i get a succesfully backup but when i try to watch it i can see like half of the movie and then it just stop at the 15 chapter or it could be the 16 chapter (i dont remember)but from there all i can do is listen to the audio...even if i skip the chapter everything remains the same....i used dvd fab and DVD Shrink and again it burns the movie succesfully but again happens the same thing...i tried DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink and again the same thing...i tried VOB blanker to see if theres a hidden chapter or something crap inside the dvd and it comes out clear...so what can i do...what do you guys think is the problem....? help

Could be a bad press, Have u watched the whole original DVD and had no problems?
the part where u said i used vobblanker, when did u use it(after DvdFab and before shrink?) if not try that however im leaning towards the bad press and thats why this is happening,
also when u use shrink have u watched the video preview when encodeing and see if that same problem happens were it goes to a blank screen?

What type of media are you using?
If you're doing everything right, then maybe it's the disc. Return it for another one.
*Edit* I've done this one with no problems. I ripped it originally with VOBB to remove all the crap I don't want. Then I compressed it with Shrink. I then burned with Decryptor--all the while AnyDVD running.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Verbatims, Sonys,Fuji,Maxell(Made in Japan) for those 3 and TY's
best media available
edit-i also did this movie(Dont Know why) with DVDFab, VOBblanker, Shrink, Nero rom, perfect backup

im using sony media...i already saw the movie from that same dvd and i can see the movie succesfully...no problems but when i try to back it up
then it happens...when i see the preview on clone dvd it happens the same thing it frozes at 16 chapter also when i do it through shrink in
the preview it stops at the 16 chapter..so i just ripped the whole movie
with VOB blanker and in gonna burned the movie again to see what happens
any other suggestions

Def. sounds like a bad press for such a bad movie!! All copy combos worked for ths movie. VOB banker isn't a ripper. Use current ver. of fab decrypter, then process using VOB banker to clean out the bad cells (into a new folder), reauthor using shrink main movie only(into a new folder), then burn with Nero or whatever.

You say you're using Sony media. Is it made in Japan or Taiwan? Huge difference! If Japan excellent if Taiwan not so excellent.
You might try using anyDVDs ripper function and then open files with Shrink and proceed as usual.
I can't believe you watched 15 chapters of the movie and still want it. LMAO

one other suggestion. if you go the dvd fab -> VOB blanker -> shrink route, think about disabling AnyDVD so it isn't running in the background. sometimes it can interfere with dvd fab. that movie shouldn't be a problem using this method. as others have said, maybe a bad disk. try it again and let us know.

hello folks, noob on this forum...I had a similliar problem, do the VOB's play like the burned DVD ?? mine did. DVDdecrypter is actually out of date with no more updates available, have you tried a diff ripper ?? fab decrypter "free" has never failed me yet, while dvddecrypter, smart ripper, have failed to decrypt blocks, or have gotten stuck on blocks

yeah i think its the movie....i did what you guys suggested and non of them work....so i will have to get another one...and try again but anyways thanks for your help
