How do people on modding sites(well, mostly modding sites) make those custom cases and frontcovers n'd such?
example:

how would a reguar person like me be able to make custom cases?

thats a damnn stupid question!!!
he's usind a ps2 parts and buying the case after that all he does is screwing it back to the new case which makes it look cool!!!

He just bought a custom case, very easy for $20. It would be very hard to actually make one without ALOT of costly machines which wouldnt be worth it.

yea theres a lot of molding goin on, and melting plastic and such, why wouldu want to make one anyway? they've got plenty of colors to choose from.if you dont lik,e the color you can just buy a skin

you need a plastic molding machine, or some sort of RP machine, which isn't something that a normal household would... as for customing your own cases, I think quite a few places that sells this kind of stuff can do it for you, but customising isn't cheap because for them it would be a one off product, which is a lot more expensive than production runs
