it doesnt matter too much about the model number as the same brand tv uses simmilar ir coding,i guessed you got it working

Ok, my tv model wasnt there, gotta find it somewhere. Also i have Shaw Cable(Canada) is there a way to almost dump the rdf from a remote to the IRShell?

Where can i get rdf for every TV i need one for a Panasonic CT-27G5CB model number.

hodgins91, what happens if your tv brand is not listed in the discrete codes file. can i create a manual folder for it??

There is no way you can extract the hex codes from a remote with irshell yet. The only way to get the codes is using a palm pc, or device created for getting the codes etc. Trial and error is the only thing i can suggest for the codes. Or if it means that much to you...contact the retailer of your device and ask for the codes. IRshell is pretty sweet...but you have to be quite close to the tv...like 4-5m max. But even without the ir capabilities...the file manipulation, file transfer via wifi, alarm etc...it's worth having for just that, a recommended shell for all you 1.5'ers out there ;)

i went to that website and i downloaded phillip prontoedit. there was a instruction inside it. i did everything. my tv model is sylvania and i found the ccf files to it. i was trying to convert ccf to prf by editing the codes and stuff, but i didnt had any luck. anyone knows how to do this?? hodgins91 help!!!!

multiple files although small take alot longer to move b/c of the fact that there are over 9000 of them, if it was one big file it doesnt have to move the data in small amounts but instead it moves it as fast as posible, with 1kb file the transfer rate is 1kb/sec cause thats the max it can do
