Hello,
I have devhook .46 installed and all appears to be installed correctly, I used the ultimate installer program.

I am new and am having problems with devhook selecting isos.
The only way I can get isos to load > is to reboot in 1.5 and go into devhook select the iso and it will load. If I exit the game I can not get into a different iso until I go back to 1.5 and reboot, I MUST reboot or when I select the next iso in 1.5/devhook it starts to load, then goes to 2.71 emulator and that is it.

What am I missing? after I exit the iso I can see the other ones on the bottom with home and l/r pressed, but how to I START the next one?
Can not find the answer any where.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!!

Dan,Dude just go to isohunt and Yes all UNTOUCHED games will load w/Devhook
Haeffnkr, when you are playing a game and want to play a different game press home and select yes, that will put you on the (XMB) menu , when there press home+R (or L) and wait a few seconds and your icon of your next game will appear and press X to load.Press Home+R as many times as needed till you get to the game u want.

GREAT!!
I finally see how it do it, I was not waiting long enough after I selected the game for it to initially load at the UMD icon, now I see my games and can toggle through and load as normal --THANKS!

Now on more question.
If I shut down the psp and restart it, it always starts the UMD disk I have inserted (the PSP sampler disk). Is there a way for it not to load this disk and just go straight to menu/ISO, or any other boot options, other than cancelling the UMD disk, etc?
I am told you need to have a UMD for devhook to load, so that is why it is in the PSP, but I dont want to actually play it.
I saw the boot options in Devhook but I am not sure that matters on an inital boot up, or what they actually do?

Really appreciate the help!
sorry for the newbie questions, trying to get this going for my son's birthday soon.

thanks again - Haeffnkr

haeffnkr you do not neeed to shut down the psp.(if you have a new mod you can press Home + Start(in the 2.71 xmb) to go back to 1.5)
Try this new mods DevHook_Launcher_Mod_v1.61a_For_PSP
or DevHook_Shell_Prototype_Mod_r27 (or guimod v3.3) at ps2nfo.com

or get one of this that works like a homebrew in the 2.71 xmb.(it comes with the DHv46 pack)
Escape Devhook from FW2.xx (when your in 2.71 xmb use this as a homebrew to Return to 1.50)
Return to 1.50 from fw2.xx (when your in 2.71 xmb use this as a homebrew to Return to 1.50)you only need one of this

If you use the custom firmware the UMD will not auto load.(it flashes your psp)
get it at psp-hacks or pspupdates(and look for a custom firmware thread)not here

I'm having trouble getting everything working. I downgraded to 1.5, installed Devhook 0.46 (even tried 0.45). I start Devhook no problem, but when I start usbhostfs it wont connect unless I delete the PSP type B device and reinstall it. After the reinstall it does say connected to device, and I can choose my ISO. I hit start, and it restarts and the menu loads. If I have a disc in or insert a disc it freezes while loading. I though maybe bad ISO's. Not an ISO problem, tried a know good one. Same problem.

I think it's your DH files. Where did you get them?
Try to get a new DHv46 full pack at ps2nfo.com(or here at the first page)

outsiders look for a WWE SMACKDOWN vs RAW2006(EUR) Thread.(not here)
press start to skip the intro video of the game so it works.
Is the game untouched?
I have US game and it works ok.

i have a strange problem while playin isos with dh over usb.
Loco Roco works fine, but Untold Legends and Daxter (EUR and US) crashes. both games load, but do crash later in the game. Always on the same position. before the games crash, they try do load data over usb i guess. anyone experienced similar problems or knows how to solve it?

Finally got it working. I installed everything on a second computer, and it works great. I haven't fixed the problem on my primary computer, I am sure it is a problem with my PSP type B driver not staying loaded. I would just like to thank Bill for the largest and most popular virus, Windows OS.

How do you uninstall or update devhook?
Will it bricked your psp when you input your setup wrong?
What happen when the power goes out when dev hook is installing?
How do you not let devhook write on flash?
