I just picked up a copy of Mind Of Mencia Season 1 on DVD at Best Buy. Its a nice Show. So I want to put it on my Hard Drive cause the kids usualy mess up disks. So I decide to back it up even before I watch it its Brand New Fresh from the case.

DVD Shrink gives me a Data Cycle Error then DVD Decrypter gaves me some I/O error.

What is wrong is it some new protection the DVD is pretty new so maybe.

What do you think it is

Hello.

It's likely copy protection.

Try using AnyDVD in the background:

Or use DVDFab Decrypter to rip to the hard drive and then process maybe with vobblanker:

Or try Ripit4me: (it's free)

Of course, it could also be a bad disk.

@ towlies,

try the DVDFab decrypter in laddyboy's post and if that does not rip it then it is probably a bad press, although if it rips completly and u run it thru shrink and u get an error then u have 2 run it thru VobBlanker and then it should work

VobBlanker http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm

here is a guide

Well I was just trying Options with Ripit4me and I figured it out that it might be not try.

I was getting a Dirty Disk error from Ripit4me and I decided to continue with it and then used FixVTS and then DVD Shrink and now I got a workable/burnable DVD-5 Image.

So I dont know I guess its working.
