I installed DVD Shrink.
I doubleclik on the icon. The hourglass goes on for about one second and then nothing happens ! If I look a the 'runing processes" (with ctrl-alt-del) it is there.
What do I have to do to 'see' it run ?

Hi,
I unistalled it completely then installed it from zero. Same result. It's like it does not run, I dont see any window opening but it is runing 'in backgroud'. I do I put it in the foregroud ?

Does it show up in the taskbar?

Using XP pro sp2
downloaded today DVD Shrink "dvdshrink32setup1.zip"

have u restarted ur PC and try and open shrink and the same thing happens?

just did it and still does not show anything runing, exept when I look at the processes, the I see it. I even tried to change the priority without any result.
Looks like phantom software !

I dont realy remember and since I shut down and rebooted the computer... links are lost.
Do you have a prefered (reliable) site to download it from ?

I uninstalled DVD Shrink
redownloaded it from filehippo
reinstalled it
rebooted the computer
and same thing = nothing happens ! except that the process is runing, but I dont see a thing...

in the taskmanager do u see it in the Applications too or just the Processes?

well sorry i cant help, dont know what 2 do?
do u have any regisrty cleaner or fixer? if do u might want to try that and see if anyhting is wrong with the regisrty?

windows has a handy system verification utility tool built into it..try going to : system info,tools,system file verification tool and run it..hopefully it might fix your shrink problem..just a nickles worth of free advice :)
