Help to unlock a nokia 6230i

Hi there,
I've followed all the above instructions with my UK Vodafone Nokia 6230 and got nowhere.
With no sim card, I get no response after typing in an unlock code (including the final # key)
With a non-accepted (O2) sim card, I get no response pressing "Undo" after it shows up as "Phone restricted [STOP]". I tried it with two sim cards. There's no box in which to type an unlock code.
my IMEI is 355665008349434 and I used the Nokiafree page to generate unlock codes.
Has it been hard-locked already?

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)
This code is for the 6230/i UK, network locked to Vodafone. If this is not correct do not attempt the code.
Here is your code:
#pw+085493500356507+7#
If your mobile is hardlocked it will say "can not undo restriction" / "not allowed".

bad news, once the code had been entered all it said was phone restricted, what can i do now?

I think your mobile is hardlocked.
Try this and tell me what happens. Also make sure that your mobile is definately locked to the Orange network.
Only try the codes once and once only!!!
Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.
If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked.
If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed
If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.
Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the codes.
Here is your code: #pw+302206123074716+1#
If the mobile gives no response/no message then do the following: Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button, a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok
Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!
