well I must have a custom then 'cause I've been playing ISO-games for months.. Still I can't find them anywhere through devhook...

Man, Sum one help me out, with the cso file i did wat most of you said on here but it still doesent do nothing! im trying to play sum games! i got 2.71 dev hook devhook_ultimate_installer_v1091 and i did what vbaker4 said, but when i do it says the the game is corrupted and the game cannot be started.

How about the Patapon cso? Has anyone tried that? I copied the cso file into the ISO folder. The game can start but it hangs at the loading page. Any idea? Which version do I need to play that?

You need custom firmware, you'll have to use pandoras.

yeah but that costs because my psp battery isnt the right type, i opened it up and yeah...
there has to be another way i can play cso games without pandora downgrade...surely because the amount of people with 3.90 that has cso that they cant play...
I need help with cso games, i have 3.90 installed :@

if ur on 3.52 and above the only way to get custom firmware is a pandora battery and mms.

If you say there has to be another way then why are you asking for our help? If you know there is another way then evidently you know something that we don't know. So why don't you tell us.
Either listen to the members or take a hike.
Multiple members has told you the only option you have is a Pandora Battery AND Magic Memory Stick. So do a search and use all of this previous past information to figure it out.

You need to help yourself and do a little searching. This has been asked and answered many times. Believe me I help in this forum and have made a few guides that are stickied that walk you through the above steps.
So instead of being an ass yourself and arguing with members that are trying to help (as to the above post I quoted on) why don't you stop being lazy and do a little searching. It isn't that hard to find this stuff. Especially when there are 3 to 4 guides stickied at the top of the PSP forum in bold black type that say GUIDE: how to create Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick.
I don't mind helping but I also hate having new members come here thinking we need to spoon feed you and wipe your arse on all your questions. Your a big boy and evidently know how to type, spell and use the Internet. So start helping yourself and do a little searching and reading. It goes a long ways.
Maybe I should have reported this to a Mod but all I see them say is read the rules and search. What the hell is that going to accomplish?
I really wished some of these new members and veterans as well would start getting suspend a week till they learn to follow the rules and search. This includes me for going off like this as well. A few weeks suspension will be worth it if it gets lazy ass members to start searching and respecting the members that do help in this forum.

Actually I think that larrylje was pointing out the ridiculous premise you put forward when you made the claim about downgrading without Pandora. It is the remit of the inadequately stupid to formulate the most convenient of theories that suit their illogical reasoning which is unfortunately based on abject ignorance. Those of us that try to help, have the task of trying to teach those who ask, by metaphorically putting things on a plate for them, and can be frustrated when they don't eat it up and instead suggest we serve something else up. You are in fact totally wrong in your assumption that anybody here is a professional because the ppl here help for free and when you spit out the food you are offered gratis you end up irritating those who try and cater for you.
Also to suggest that someone is a "retard" when you use "pannie" to shorten "pandora" by one letter is a little ironic. I'd concern yourself more with how your intellect is being assessed because I personally think you haven't enough wit to mod your PSP even with instructions. So my advice is don't do it. :)

filmstfu - If your attitude is like that, then you probably won't last long. Larry had perfectly valid points, and he wasn't even turning it into an argument, if someone says one way (in this case, the Pandora Battery) then the chances are that that IS the only way. If there are more than one, we will nearly always give you all the options.
