PLEASE HELP!!

I have retail version of hd loader and i have installed hd loader v8b on the hard drive. I get the patch to load up but it won't play any of the games. I installed the patch on the hard drive to play Liberty City Stories. Is there something else i need to do??

the patch is referring to hd loader v8b. i installed it on the hard drive using winhiip. when i click it on the hd loader screen it loads up then when i try to select liberty city stories (which is why i am trying to do this) i get a black screen, actually none of the games will load up.

i don't know if you can load HDLoader from the HDD using a retail version of HDLoader... at a guess you'll probably need to unload HDLoader with your retail (i.e. mode 3)... give that a try and report back :)

I'm having same problem with LCS. Im using HD Advance 3 though with a 250gb maxtor drive. It loads up fine with the introduction, then when I press X it just freezes.
