I guess Im so used to how easy dvdshrink has been, im lost when it fails. Usually after backing up a disk, it automaicaly opens the cd drive and asks for a blank DVD, I put it in and it burns it. Now everytime I try to backup a DVD it just tells me the files have been backed up and are saved to such and such location and that I should burn it with the appropriate burning software. Did I accidentally change a setting or something?

What program do you use to burn? Nero? When you press the back up button a new window opens up. The last tab, check to see if the box to enable burning with Nero is checked off.

Hello.

After you click the Backup! button in DVD Shrink, the next window has a Select backup target: menu. The following selections are available:

Burn with Nero (if Nero is installed)
Create ISO file
Create ISO file and burn with DVD Decrypter (if DVD Decrypter is installed)
Create DVD files in hard disk folder
