I just tryed to back up " The Hades Factor ". ( from sony ) using, Any dvd .dvd shrink DVD Decrypter dvd fab .meny others, and nothing works . dvd burners will not read it at all.Is this a new ARCOS encryption from Sony ? the movie plays fine at home dvd players. but not at any dvd burner.it just wont play ,,any ideas or help please

Hello.

Do you mean, the original won't even play in your computer DVD drive?

It is possible of course for the disk to have a defect that your computer drives cannot overcome and yet be playable in a standalone. Standalones have better error processing routines.

The most currrent version of AnyDVD is 6.0.3.1 and DVDFab Decrypter is 2.9.8.1.

Did you try Ripit4me, a freebee. It uses a PSL file with DVD Decrypter. It's an old school approach but very effective.

its only availible to mac users and linux users

i read in the dvdfab htm file [in your program files folder] that Interactual player thing is bad to have installed, it also has a list of programs that may tend to clash with your pc programslike shrink and decrypter. protect your pc by NOT installing the so called pc friendly player
