HDAdvance 3.0 - Options Below Mode Select Screen?

As most of you know, when you boot HDA 3.0 and press select on a game you've copied to the HDD, it goes to the Modes select screen (expect Modes 1-3 aren't labeled MODE anymore). Below the first three options (which are Modes 1-3), there are other options listed. Such as:

Date/time fix 1
Date/time fix 2
Soul Calibur 2
Disable UAB patch
Disable network support

I was just wondering what those are for (besides the Soul Calibur 2 one, that's obviously for that game :D)?
