What is the difference between the dvd cd and the regular cd?

The CD version embedded with the largest TOC. It can convert all CD games. The DVD version also embedded with the largest TOC. It can convert all DVD games.

(they should make a DVD-9 HDA disc with the highest TOC so we can copy DVD-9 games directly to the HDD without using a PC)

-------------

Sure, it's great we can copy CD and DVD based PS2 games to the HDD without using a PC, but why not take it one step further? I think the HDA creators should release HDA 4.0 on a DVD-9 so we can copy dual-layer, DVD-9, based PS2 games to the HDD without the need of a PC.

If they have to charge a little more money for HDA 4.0 due to DVD-9s being more expensive than single-layer DVDs, I'm sure most people will gladly pay the extra cost for the added feature. I know I will.

Who else agrees HDA 4.0 should be on a DVD-9 disc?

BTW: I also posted this at the forum on their official website. Hope they're checking there once in a while. *fingers crossed*

HDAdvance shouldn't even exist in the first place, they stole HDLoader 0.7c (which is FREE) and sold it for their own benefit.

And when you say the "HDA creators", they did NOT create this, the patches are developed by people who work for free. Besides, it's faster/safer for the PS2 laser to copy games using the PC.

Well, it's good for me because I don't have a mod-chip or swap-magic to run HDLoader 0.7c, so HDA is my only option for running games off the HDD.

Swap magic + HDLoader is a lot better than HDAdvance, you can get updates for free, it has better support, and you wouldn't be supporting the people who stole off others for their own benefit. Personally I have there's never a HDAdvance 4
