i have a major problem on my psp cause u see i have a psp with a faceplate which is pretty scrtahed up and stuff and i bought a brand new 1 and then when i was goin to replace the new 1 with old 1 i coudnt manage to take to the back screws out beacuse i think the grip on the screws is worn out or so iz there anyway i could take em out cause i really need to replace this faceplate

I thought the same thing about my psp but then I went and bought a nice set of screwdrivers and they came out just fine. If theyre not actually stripped. Check with a flashlight, then I would do the same. 7 bux at radioshack.

buff the screw heads with a 4" grinder thats what i do in work when i cant get a screw out LOL jus jokin r u usin the right size screw driver? have you took the psp face plate off before because if you have'nt then the screws should'nt be damaged??

the thing is dat i have a the right screw drivers and my psp has been opened b4 and thats y the screws are damaged so if there no other wy to get it open plzzzz i need to get my psp opened

im 20 mins from glasgow mate (port glasgow)

think im jus gonna send my psp to a shop in dundee £55 to fit a new laser and drive including P&P and they'll do it within 3 days

i seen 1 for $35 but dunno bout the shippin and there was a place in glasgow but they wanted £60 for one im not too confident to fix it myself lol

you wanna try and undercut the the place in dundee?

lol i dont have time right now or i would ,but 55 pounds seems quite alot if you think bout it 30 dollars is like 15-20 pounds and 10 pounds shipping , so your maybe like paying 20 pounds for installation though that may not piss you off cause you aint did it before but people who have did it would never go back to paying that price again lol. Long you been part of the community?
