can somebody help me my Nokia 6010 can not use another sim it is from cingullar. when i type in the unlock code it tells me that it was not restricted

What message comes up when you insert another networks sim?
Are you trying to use this phone in another Country?

The 6010 only works in the USA if purchased in the USA. You will not be able to use it outside of the USA. Frequencies do not match.

Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!!(No Private Messages Please)

Hi gamil,

Yes you can use your mobile in other countries aslong as the frequencies match.

The 6010 will work with networks that run 850mhz/1900mhz.

Here is a small list where you can use your mobile:

Argentina
USA
Canada
Mexico
T&T
