After you burn the dvd and add it to your collection im looking for a way to add protection back to the dvd so if anyone got a hold of my dvds they would need the same program or programs as me in order to copy it. If any one could help i would appreciate it i have been racking my brain tryin to figure out how to do it so i figured if anyone could help you all could because you all have been so helpful in the past

first of all why? you just cheated the system now you want to be greedy and not let anyone else have a shot at it?!? i refer all of my friends to this site to help it grow share the wealth and knowledge second of all search!

if Hollywood can't protect the DVDs with encryption that will block copying, what makes you think you can add encryptions that will block copying your copies???

getting a little greedy are we? it is alright for you to have the movie, but noone else? like rob1026 said, you cheated the system and now you dont want anyone else to do it? that is why we are all in this forum, to help each other. think about it.

there is only one sure fire way to keep your friends from copying your movies don't let them borrow your disks also lock them up so they can't get a hold of them, also the answer is yes you could make the disk so you would have to put a password in before you play the disk if you want to go that way, good luck happy burning have a nice day, for one thing you have to do this before you burn the movie it will not work with disks that have been burn't

I agree with IHoe, if Hollywood can't do it then you certainly can't do it.

Hello and good afternoon! I was just reading over this thread and thinking.... isn't it interesting that Hollywood cannot (or will not) put a code or scrambler on their dvd's that we simply cannot crack?? You know, a sure-fire way that would make it impossible for us to crack? It makes you think...maybe they are not terribly worried that we have access to their 'video device material'. Anyway, something to ponder.

If its possible id like to do it on a couple of my Movies!
