Hi,
I`ve been converting XviD and DivX (MPEG 4) files to DVD with ConvertXtoDvd from VSO, and although the sound is fine, the picture looks as if it`s missing a few frames per second - it appears to be running just slightly slowed down. You can see this when, for example, the camera pans slowly from left to right.
The picture settings I usually use would be:
"Medium Quality encoding speed" - recommended by VSO
"Conversion Priority: Normal"
TV Format 4:3 Full screen
Is this a software issue, or a user mistake.

PAD48,
Is the movie that u put on the disc that u are playing an original or is it downloaded because if it is downloaded then it may b a dodge video. And also is the DivX playing fine on ur Computer? if not then u might need to burn it again and see how u go then.

It`s a download - mostly DivX and XviD which I convert with "ConvertXto Dvd". Well, about the original playing fine you may have a point there.
On closer scutiny, and now you mention it, the "Original" does seem to be running a bit slow. I guess then the problem lies at the source.
What`s a didge vid ? A vid that`s a bit didgy ?

is the AVI file in PAL and your converting to NTSC?
That could be the culprit
