As a rule of thumb, AMD beats the crap out of Intel almost every time at almost every category. Go with the AMD.

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean Im crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?

I would normally agree but when your talking bout a celeron and AMD. AMD Wins hands down. Its a better chipset regardless.

just the highend Intel core is. the Conroe

AMD has the bigger market share on the mid-end cores plus they had a recent price drop making there cores the best deal out there.

they will have that Conroe beat early 2007

Indeed, the Conroe series might be higher end than the current AMD, but that will soon change...
Anyways, i have to agree with aabbccd, AMD coolers are rubbish, i always immediately replace them with Zalman or Coolermaster *depending on availability and socket AM2 compatibility*.
