DMS4 EZI LITE using a EXT USB HDD is it possible ?

Is it possible to flash the usb hdd driver to the DMS4 LITE chip, alongside Toxicbios 1.4 ?
At the moment cannot get my ps2 v8 to recognise my external usb hard-drive.

I know you need the pro version to load TOXIC OS but the usb hdd driver is only a small file and would fit in the cache memory .

If it is possible please explain in detail as i am thick !
