The laser on my modded slim ps2 is going out so I would like to start running games off my usb hdd. I have a 60gb western digital in an enclosure and every time I try to start usbadvance it just goes to a black screen and does nothing.

It is possible that the ps2 cant read the disc, if that is the case how do I put it on my memcard? I have a matrix infinity chip and a v12 ps2. Otherwise what jumper settings should I use and is there anyway to get my hdd working?
