Help psp internet problem!!!!

my psp wont connect to the internet i have a linksys router and my laptop connects to it just fine. my psp detects my router 100% then i go on the 100% linksys setting and test the connection. I hear the sound you hear when it gives you a read out it tells me the mac address and everything a total read out of all this stuff. when i look at the bottom where it says internet connection: and it says failed. When i go to my buddys house it say internet connection succseeded. I think my internet connection works fine on my router because i use my laptop wirelessly and go onto the internet freely(no wires!!!) any help on this issue would be greatly appreaciated

there was some guide on how to properly create a connection somewhere here at afterdawn. sorry that i cant find the link for you. but i know there's some solution about your problem. ya go search it ok.

first of all check your psp has an ip adress if it has you should contact sony with this problem as mine did the same thing!!

instead of creating ur connection manually, just click scan and it wil autoamically detect the wireless in your linkey.

hey everyone i need help. my psp has a 3.02 internet version. At my school they have a wireless lan but my psp cant use the internet. there is no wep password. My friend use his psp at school and it works. How can that be? he say to change the router but where do u change the router?
can anyone help me plz?
