Ok what I have is a Version 1.6 xbox, with the original parts and everything this xbox is a few months old. Now I have everything on it updated to the current and same withdownloadable cxontent,
Now I softmodded it Saturday which this wasnt my first time and last. I used {KRAZIE NDURE) installer backed up my eeprom and my ms dashboard of course. then installed the mod had evox dashinstalled only use it to play backups. Then now when i had to recover my old gamertag on xbox what I did was started up splinter cell went back to the installer and in KRAZIE's theirs and off and on selection so I chooosed off and was able to go on xbox live and retrieve my gamertag then went back and turned the mod on.

Now that my other gamertag ran out of time I have to go back and renew it which I went back and did the same stuff i just told you and now im getting the ERROR 21 message only when i try to boot back to the ORIGINAL MS Dash. But I can get on to xbox live still through games, I can get to the EVOX DASH, I can get to the MS Dash thru EVOX but can get to xbox live on that. So what the heck can I do to solve this please help I want to renew my account mainly cause I have all my friends on their and it be a killer to loss them.

The error 21 is a MS bug in the live update software. What you have to do is while evox is running find and install unleashx dashboard..use the file manager in that to restore your C:\ dash files from the backup folder on E:\. You will no doubt have to do the exploit again. Let me know how that works. We fix error 21 on a daily basis, it was unknown 12 months ago. It seems that MS have corrupted code in the live update software. (some people are saying this is deliberate..I don't believe that, but anything is possible now they want everybody to buy a 360)

actually what i had to do since i had evox installed i actually booted up into splinter cell and reload the linux profile and then i restored my dashboard and then it worked so i didnt have to uninstall anything and made it out hard then it was so, now pretty every time that happens that what I do.

O yeah softmod with Krazi nDure lol and banned from Halo 2 on 37 accounts so far :)

Great.. It's good when it works like that. Sometimes it doesn't and then it's a real pain. Make sure never to delete your exploit saves.. 10 out of 10 ;-) It's excellent when somebody like yourself understands the importance of having good backups.. Far to many don't.. Happy gaming..lol
