yah i finally got it working and now im pissed
the stupid mods deleted all saved data and i cant get back to my original dashboard no matter how hard i try
i tried putting back in splinter cell but the files either got deleted or are on the old dashboard
is there anyway to get them off the xbox???
any help would be much appreciated.

I need help with Skinning halo 2 i have the following apps= ADI v2-DOT HALO with latest plugins-H2x-H2EDIT-and a couple of others. but i need to know how to make my own skins like weapon and player and vehi skins . plz thank you very much( I WILL PASS THE WISDOM ALONG TO OTHER NOOBS)

You need 2 programs. One is named Photoshop CS2 and the other is noamed H2 IB. You need H2 IB to internalize all of the weapon and vehicle skins. You need photoshop to skin them. You can go to my website and download both > http://www.legit-modders.com > All about mods > Modding Programs!

Open up the folder and enter the registry key. Then open your original maps folder and do this
THE MAPS YOU NEED TO PUT IN THIS DIRECTORY ARE:
(MAINMENU)
-MAINMENU.map
(OLD MAPS)
-ASCENSION.map
-COAGULATION.map
-FOUNDATION.map
-HEADLONG
-IVORY TOWER.map (CYCLOTRON.MAP)
-LOCKOUT.map
-MIDSHIP.map
-WATERWORKS.map
-ZANZIBAR.map
(NEW MAPS)
-CONTAINMENT.map
-ELONGATION.map
-GEMINI.map
-RELIC.map (DUNE.MAP)
-SANCTUARY.map (DELTATAP.MAP)

15 CLEAN MAPS IN TOTAL
After you do that, run the serenity autopatcher. While it's running get the halo 2 default.xbe, fonts folder, and media folder off your H2 disc and onto your computer. When it's done patching it will ask if you want to ask if you want to auto resign them. say yes. When it's done auto resigning, look in the modded maps folder and there should be a whole bunch of maps there. Make a copy of the maps you are going to use for the remaining patches. Then do this.
get ascension.map rename into > Halo_Derby.map
get coagulation.map rename into > Selan_Forest.map
get lockout.map rename into > Cassiopeia.map
get lockout.map rename into > Infection.map
get zanzibar.map rename into > Infiltration.map
get zanzibar.map rename into > Lakeside.map
get gemini.map rename into > Satans_Crypt.map
Go to the remaining patches folder and extract the sppf out of each rar file. Open superppf and apply the mods. Then use encryptomatic signature to resign them. Create a folder in your apps folder under E called killtrocity. Put the default.xbe in there, the media folder, and create a folder called maps and put the fonts folder in there. Under the maps folder Transfer all the maps you modded plus shared.map. Wait for it to transfer. When it's done, go into E\TDATA\4d530064\$u and rename the three things in there to have a 2 at the start so the autoupdate won't load. Then play it off of your xbox HD.

ok nvm that last one.I used adobe photoshop and mesed around with it once i put the DDS plugin in the REQUIRED folder of the program folder. what do i do next ? how do i know what part of a gun is? how do i save it properly( ADOBE PHOTOSHOP V.7.0)

I recently tried to make my own racetrack because I saw a tutorial on se7ensins or something and every BSP viewer I've tried doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Im trying to add items to my halo 2 maps. i know how to change items but i want to add more, i know i need a map viewer of some sort, but im not sure where or what i exactly need. im trying to add things outside of levels so i can walk around, such as outside of Ivory tower i want to put crates or something i could use as a stair way to climb around on. if anybody knows what i need to do please reply to this. dont worry about telling me to back up my files or anything i know all that basic stuff i just want to change around the level.
