Total newbie here, never ripped a DVD in my life, so apologies if this is not the correct forum. If it isn't, please direct me to the right one.
I just want to copy one scene from a DVD and convert it to a file that Final Cut Pro accepts, .avi or .mov or whatever. I used OSeX and was able to get a .vob file but now I assume I need to convert it? Help, how do I do this, what software do I need? I'm using a Mac so I have limited options. Thanks to anyone that can shed light on this subject.
