I cannot find the 1600 in any list

Only try the codes once and once only!!!

Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.

If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked.

If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed

If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.

Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the codes.

Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!

Alas phone unlocked no problems ; but shows sim not allowed now is this a new thing ?

It said Phone restriction Off :

Now it shows SIM Not Invalid

Its Vodafone NL Pay as U Go

But it was simple the phone has a build in Re-set
Once you remove the restriction TURN THE PHONE OFF IMMEDIATELY

Re Start with new SIM All Excepted many thanks again all FIXED

Normally the phone would turn off on it's own after the unlock had taken place and came right back on. This was just an odd occurance that your phone remained on. Either way, glad to see you figured it out and it's now working.
