I have the newest AnyDVD and DVDFAB and DVD Decrypter. I can't seem to get more than 20% before it stops. Does it have a new encryption? Even DVDXCopy won't do it. It is brand new but I can see a VERY small scratch on the outside ring. I have tried 2 different drives with no luck. Has anyone had any success in backing it up. Thanks

ripit4me/recode2/imgburn.
Ripit4me is king.
Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

Try the program, if not, get another disc. There's nothing special on this title (protection wise).
AnyDVD with Shrink worked for me.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Got to agree DVD Decrypter ripped this one on its own, no help needed. Check and make sure your disk is not scratched or damaged.

@ fxd2002,
yep, i agree with Arniebear, as i too used good ol' DVD Decrypter by itself. probably is a bad disk.
Check and see if it plays in a standalone player?
also u shouldn't use DVDFab when using AnyDVD, not sure if thats what u meant.

Yeah I tried using DVDFab while AnyDVD 6.0.4.5 was running. Should I delete DVDFab? I've been using DVD Decrypter for awhile with great success I just try Fab when I'm having problems.

There is no need to get rid of DVDFab, just don't use it with AnyDVD. It is always good to have as many programs as possible to get the job done. If one fails try another.

i used to use fab a lot, never found a movie it didn't handle. i would not get rid of it. i just prefer ripit4me because it works with decrypter and fixvts. decrypter is my favorite ripper so i'm happy to be able to use it again for all my backups.

I like the way RipIt4Me has integrated all the programs together and is just one click. Also glad that DVDD got new life breathed into it, just goes to show what an excellent program it was and why it was gone after and crushed.

Again i have to agree with ArnieBear, DVD Decrypter is still one of the best rippers out there, as it still works with all the old movies and even most of the new movies of course except sony movies.
like i said in my other post i did V for vendetta with Good ol faithful DVD Decrypter
PS havent tried ripit4me yet, but will sometime, i guess it is because i like to use vobblanker with every movie, to get rid of all the crap(Especially the sonys which have like a mass amount of trailers on it) and it lines up everything for shrink or recode

I just tried to Shrink/Burn this movie (ripped with DVDFab Decrypter - 8/3/06 version). It showed as 4464 size, which should fit on a single layer DVD+R. After shrinking, it would not accept my DVD+R for the burn, claiming there is not enough space on the disc. Tried a couple others, same error. I hit cancel for the burn and it showed the file size that was saved was 4680 size. I closed the window to go back to edit stuff out, and it shows 4464 again in the main edit window. What could be tricking Shrink?

@ Pariah,
u need to open shrink and change the output size its in preferences
BTW 4464, this is way too close to the edge and could get u burn errors

Had a lil problem burning this one. I "burned" it no sweat but afterwards I checked the Special features and it had no sound. I used Shrink w/ AnyDVD 6031 1st and then tried recode2 Same result. Then tried DVDFab and the Special feat just came out with a green screen. Then I tried DVD Clone, finally came out right. Anyone know why this does this. I noticed lately some of us have ahd this problem. I thought it might have been because I used DVDFab while AnyDVD has enabled but this time I only used AnyDVD. Just weird

I used RipIt4Me and it did a great job.... but I don't use Shrink unless there's no compression! So I used DVDRebuilder Pro w/CCE and it came out great! The best....... DVDDecrypter still is the KING OF THE RIPPERS....... back in force baby! Love RipIt4Me for bring the beast of the rippers back to show the other rippers how a REAL RIPPER works!
